Chintamani Nagesh Ramchandra Rao, is an Indian chemist, whose main workspaces are cubic and structural chemistry. At present, he is the head of the Prime Minister’s Scientific Advisory Council. Dr. Rao received an honorary doctorate from 60 universities around the world. He has been awarded Bharat Ratna in 2013.
