Route and Length: The project is a 51.38 km long single track broad gauge (BG) diesel railway line from Bairabi to Sairang.

Stations: A total of 4 stations are being constructed on this route—Hortoki, Konpui, Mualkhang, and Sairang.

Strategy: The project consists of 48 tunnels, 55 major and 87 minor bridges, and 11 road over/under bridges. The most prominent structure is the 104 m high pillar near Sairang, which is 42 m higher than the Qutub Minar.

Strategic Importance Regional Connectivity: The project is part of the “Act East Policy” of the Government of India and promotes national integration.

बैराबी -सैरांग लाइन भारतीय रेलवे के पूर्वोत्तर सीमांत रेलवे क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत बैराबी से सैरांग तक रेलवे लाइन है ।

मार्ग और लंबाई: यह परियोजना बैराबी से सैरांग तक 51.38 किमी लंबी एकल ट्रैक ब्रॉड गेज (BG) डीज़ल रेलवे लाइन है।

स्टेशन: इस मार्ग पर कुल 4 स्टेशन बनाए जा रहे हैं—होर्टोकी, कॉनपुई, मुअलखांग, और सैरांग।

संरचना: परियोजना में 48 सुरंगें, 55 बड़े और 87 छोटे पुल, तथा 11 रोड ओवर/अंडर ब्रिज शामिल हैं। सबसे प्रमुख रचना सैरांग के पास बना 104 मीटर ऊंचा पिलर है, जो कुतुब मीनार से 42 मीटर ऊंचा है।
