At the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in Dwarka, New Delhi, Common Service Centre e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) commemorated the tenth anniversary of Digital India.
Purpose of CSCs:

The purpose of Common Service Centres (CSCs) is to offer digital services and access, especially in rural and isolated areas.

It is an essential component of the Digital India initiative.
Establishment and Nodal Ministry:

Created in 2006 under the National e-Government Plan (NeGP).

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is the nodal ministry.
Scope Expansion:

To improve digital inclusion and provide a greater range of services in 2015.
Key Goals:

Accomplishments:

CSC has reached almost 90% of the villages in the nation.
Key Announcements Made Recently:

Ten lakh people will receive free AI training, with priority for every VLE.

Urged all VLEs to begin providing IRCTC services.

Vowed to consult with chief ministers in order to integrate CSC-SPV with state IT agencies.
