दामोदर हरी चापेकर का जन्म 24 जून, 1869 को पुणे में हुआ था। इनका नाम भारत के क्रांतिकारी शहीदों में अमर है। दामोदर हरी चापेकर और उनके दोनों भाई बालकृष्ण चापेकर तथा वासुदेव चापेकर भी भारतीय इतिहास में अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ गये हैं। ये तीनों भाई “चापेकर बन्धु” नाम से प्रसिद्ध थे।

Damodar Hari Chapekar was born on June 24, 1869 in Pune. His name is immortal among the revolutionary martyrs of India. Damodar Hari Chapekar and his two brothers Balkrishna Chapekar and Vasudev Chapekar have also left their indelible mark in Indian history. These three brothers were famous by the name “Chapekar Bandhu”.
